Diverticulum fistula in the terminal ileum

Patient Y., 35 years old, came for examination with complaints of bloating and pain in the lower abdomen, which bothered almost constantly. Colonoscopy and gastroscopy were unremarkable. The patient is referred for video capsule endoscopy.
Video capsule endoscopy revealed a diverticulum fistula in the terminal ileum. The diameter of the fistula was approximately 5 mm. The patient was referred to the attending physician for further examination and treatment.
