Anoscopy

Anoscopy is method, which permits to inspect 15cm of rectal surface. 

Doctor can visually evaluate condition of rectal mucosa; identify pathological formations in this area, in case if it is necessary carry out biopsy (segment of tissue for histological examination), evaluate condition of hemorrhoids to choose the method of treatment. 

Anoscopy can by carried out by rectal speculum or by anoscop, it depends on doctor’s preference.
